About Us

Our mission is to elevate hyper-local and local media ecosystems.

At Macer Media we foster the hyper local media concept among entrepreneurial publishers by providing technical infrastructure and innovating new business models.

We encourage and assist publishers in creating their own distinctive and effective communities rather than adopting a "cookie cutter" approach to serving the local audience.

Hear from our founders:

"We learned fairly quickly that people respected what we're doing with The Sacramento Press in terms of our mix of technology, advertising, and news gathering. We've demonstrated an ability to innovate with technology and then leverage our strengths in technology and marketing to start SLOAN, our local ad network and The Bay Area Publisher Partnership, BAPP. These are the hallmarks of what we do." Ben Ilfeld, Founder

"We want to run a lean company in the spirit of of these local and hyper-local champions and be a company that not only has a stake in the hyper-local fight in the form of The Sacramento Press, but also helps out others in our space by providing tools to build healthy local media ecosystems. We aim to do that with Macer Media." Geoff Samek, Founder

Lynn then took the position as Vice President of United Multi Media Entertainment, a Holland-based entertainment distribution company. She single-handedly established and procured all domestic relationships, such as Longs Drugs, Comp USA, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, Office Depot, Rite-Aid, Walmart, 7-11 and Borders, once again putting an unknown company on the map. Lynn is an expert at analyzing various business models, companies, retailers and strategizing programs and business development deals that make sense for both her company and for the client.  Her high level, critical thinking translates to revenue. She was recruited to Vice President of KRB, a Franklin, TN-based producer of custom entertainment products. Lynn once again procured elite retail relationships that profoundly impacted sales. Her revenue growth in the first year exceeded 900%.

Now as Vice President of Macer Media, Lynn guides the start-ups growth by applying her ability to establish growing brands as industry leaders and revenue generators. She guides overall operational direction and revenue growth strategies. She launched multi-market online advertising networks sloan and bapp and manages all network publisher recruitment.  She directly consults the sales department with her vast knowledge to help produce and procure the best local business and agency relationships.
